Our Story

Grandad loves his grandchildren... and he loves making wooden toys too!

When little people started joining the family, Grandad decided that the children needed toys that would be sturdy and durable, toys that would encourage imaginative and creative play, and toys that the little people would love.

Wooden barns, sheds, stables, fences and other farmyard toys were lovingly created in his workshop, and before long there were other requests....

“Grandad can you please make me....”

Grandad soon realised that if these little people loved wooden toys like he did, then likely others would too. Love, Wood was born.

Love, Wood is a small family business that produces beautiful wooden toys that children will find irresistible and toys that parents will appreciate knowing they stand the test of time.

Love, Wood also produces other wooden things, using recycled timber wherever possible.

We just love wood, it’s as simple as that.
